Habitation Church is a church in the Orlando, FL area. We are a diverse Kingdom family seeking to consistently live under the loving rule of Jesus as King.
At Habitation Church, we are pursuing a way of life
together that creates an ecosystem where God dwells.
HOUSE - PRAYER - TRAINING - MISSION
We have organized all of our efforts for the life and mission of the church to best reflect what we read of the early believers in the New Testament.
The Bible defines the Church as a people that are family in Jesus. The Church is not to be primarily understood or defined as simply an event. The Church "IS" something before the Church "DOES" something.
"The Praying Church." The Church is the house, and the House should house prayer. God is forming His people into a royal priesthood- ministering to the Lord, day and night, night and day. Our effort is to be together often, and often together in prayer.
An Apprenticeship effort. Providing instruction and impartation for the purpose of mission, planting, and building.
The Spirit's work and power is unto the shaping and formation of witnesses. These witnesses are intended to be faithful in loving obedience wherever their lives are "sent" and "planted." This happens both locally and in the nations. We long to see God's international mission take root in our city and the cities of the world. Our heart is for both neighbors and nations.
Our way of life together reflects the description of the earliest believers found in the book of Acts; they were daily devoted to a way of life empowered by God’s presence and grace.
"He is knitting us together and creating for Himself a
unique habitation by the power of His Spirit."
EPH 2:22
Monthly gatherings where we bring all of the house churches together in a centralized and corporate space for dynamic Spirit led and empowered times together in worship, prayer, the ministry of the word, and more.
Weekly gatherings, in homes, to cultivate a Spirit-filled family on mission.
We are asking the Lord for His grace to empower us to become a royal priesthood. It is our desire to carry the burden of prayer upon our way of life together. We want to be together often, and often together in prayer.
Weekly gatherings for men, and every other week for women, early mornings at coffee shops. Fellowship centered on the studying the scriptures together.
